(Written as an exercise from The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, https://felixleger.com/119) Today we honor the life of Félix. Félix was born with a burning desire to belong, to be part of the group, our group. He was not the best at it, he made his share of mistakes, but everything useful that he learned during his life came out of trying to fit in with us. Félix was able to see the best in others. That is why he wanted to spend as much time as he could with them, with us. Sometimes he'd get lost, but he would always find his way back, and when he did, he was never empty-handed. Félix wanted nothing more than to see the people he loved thrive, and simply get to be part of the celebrations. Félix had the spirit of the teacher. Although he was never paid as one officially, I'm convinced everyone hearing or reading this has had the privilege to learn something from him. That was Félix. He courageously gave us everything he had, trusting that sharing was the greatest of goods. Because he wouldn't just reach for the stars by himself. His real treasure was to get to share these moments with us. All along, Félix made us stars. His final act was to literally become one, hoping that some nights he can catch our eye and inspire us to keep dreaming. If you pay close attention, you might even hear him say within you, "You got this!"
