During my recent job search, I have had some downtime. This gave me the opportunity to explore my hobbies in novel ways. For a long time, I have been a fan of the game of Go, but I was never really practicing it. Unfortunately, it’s hard to improve without practice.

Over the years, I discovered that I can hack my brain into being focused on an activity by filming myself doing it and pretending there’s an audience watching. Strange, right? But, what can I tell you… It just works for me!

So I started streaming a little bit. It’s nothing fancy. My most watched video so far has 23 views. But I like the content I’m producing. Not only is it a way for me to invest myself more deeply into my hobby, but it’s also a fun way for me to interact with the community.

One thing I like doing is to share a random quote from my lectures at the end of each stream. It’s a way to share wisdom. I’m still experimenting with the whole format, but as you can see, I’m having fun, and that’s mostly what matters.
